I have just found your blog so sorry if you already know this and I just haven't read enough to find it. My daughter has hypotonia as well and will be 2 at the end of January. She was made inpatient at 6 months due to failure to thrive and therefore started PT and OT at 10 months old. Her PT is fabulous and she has been doing great with her milestones. Something that her OT suggested to help her want to walk are Squeaker Sneakers (www.squeakersneakers.com). The squeak when she walks but only if she walks heal first. You can also put a piece of tape over the air intake whole so they don't squeak all the time. My daughter loves them and they fit over her orthotics if bought a size bigger. Again sorry if I'm telling you something you already know. Good luck to your son in meeting his milestones. Our journey has been a long and stressful one but has made me a better mom.
