What is the point of living close to family when they seem to purposely avoid you and exclude you from things? I just discovered today that certain family members are in town for a few days (they live semi-close to here) for a beach vacation and they never told us about it. Maybe I’m just being my paranoid self again, but I don’t think they wanted us to know. I’m not really sure what the deal is. Like I said, I could be paranoid.
Family can be so hurtful without meaning to! Do they have kids? You never know the reason, I’d bring it up just in conversation with them, like ‘heard you’re in the area…’ sort of thing.
